We are committed to protecting your data and maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

Whenever we ask you to provide information that can identify you, we will clearly indicate what information is required, how it will be used, and obtain your consent when needed (for example via cookie banners or explicit consent prompts).

2. Your Consent

By accessing and using the Service, you consent to this Privacy Policy and the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described herein. You may decline non-essential processing (e.g., marketing cookies) without loss of access to core Service functionalities.

4. Google User Data & YouTube API

4.1 Google Account Data: When you sign in to Zuibun using Google, we access and store your name, email address, and profile picture URL. We use this information to create and maintain your Zuibun account, authenticate you, and display your account information within the Service.

4.2 YouTube Data: Zuibun uses the YouTube Data API v3 to provide YouTube-related functionality. With your authorization, we access information associated with your YouTube account and playlists, including your playlists, playlist video IDs, video titles, and video thumbnail URLs. We store this information to allow you to view and manage your YouTube playlists and associated videos within Zuibun.

4.3 Google User Data Sharing: We do not sell Google user data or YouTube user data. We do not share Google user data with third parties except where necessary to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or protect our rights, users, or the security of the Service.

4.4 Storage & Protection: Google user data that we store is protected using commercially reasonable security measures, including TLS/HTTPS encryption during transmission and access controls designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to stored Google user data is limited to what is necessary to operate and maintain the Service.

4.5 Retention & Deletion: We retain Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. You may request deletion of your Zuibun account and associated Google user data by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete the applicable personal and Google user data within a reasonable period, generally within 14 days, unless retention is required by law.

4.6 Limited Use: Zuibun's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features of Zuibun that users have authorized.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Payment processors, analytics providers, and other third-party vendors who assist us in providing the Service under contract and confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental request, we may disclose information. We may also disclose information to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction (with notice).

5. Retention of Information

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfil purposes described here, or as required by law. If you request deletion of your account or data, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period (e.g., within 14 days) unless retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may have the following rights under applicable law:

  • Access: Receive a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Delete your personal data when no longer needed.
  • Restriction of Processing: Request suspension of processing in certain cases.
  • Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to Object: Object to processing, including for marketing purposes.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

7. Opt-Out of Marketing

If you’ve opted-in to receive marketing communications, you may opt-out at any time via the unsubscribe link provided in those communications or via your account settings.

8. Security of Your Information

We implement commercially reasonable measures — such as TLS/HTTPS, encryption, access controls, and regular audits — to protect your personal data. However, no internet-based system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

9. International Transfers

If you are located outside the country where our servers or subprocessors operate, your data may be transferred across borders. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers and acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we become aware we have collected data from a child under the legal age, we will delete it without undue delay. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected such information, please contact [email protected].

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will post the new policy on this page with an updated “Effective date”. If we make material changes, we may notify you directly (e.g., via email). Your continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
